Dorset-headquartered Store & Secure plans for expansion following continued success
Dorset-headquartered Store & Secure is on the look-out for more sites after the success of its vast, bright yellow Poole facility.
It opened in Hamworthy last year offering storage for individuals and businesses, as well as serviced offices. The business is run by ‘storage sisters’ Lucy and Sophie Maidman who now want to repeat the success elsewhere in the south. They are looking for freehold premises or land and believe their business model will work anywhere.
As well as physical security, the sisters take digital security very seriously and ensure their systems are as robust as they can be.
Lucy said: “Our Poole facility has been a huge success and we want to replicate our model in new areas. We are looking for freehold sites or existing premises and we’d consider buying from independent operators. We offer all sorts of storage and encourage online traders to use us because we can take in stock for them.
“Service is something we are serious about and part of that comes from being a family business. Our aim is to grow a business with multiple facilities and develop our own staff. With our successful business model and culture of service excellence we are confident that we can scale up the business.
“Businesses that disposed of their offices during the lockdowns use our facility to store documents and other important possessions and the storage sector is growing. Finding the right sites is tricky and we’d like to hear of any potential locations.”
