Footwear specialists, Dune step into Manchester Arndale
Dune London, the renowned footwear and accessories brand, is stepping up its presence in the North West after signing a 5-year lease for a 1,596 sq ft space at Manchester Arndale as it is set to return to central Manchester.
Dune London offers a wide range of stylish and high-quality footwear, from casual shoes to formal wear and an array of handbags, clutches, and leather goods. Their high-quality designs are contemporary and trendsetting, emphasizing both fashion and comfort while catering for a wide range of tastes.
The brand’s arrival complements other recent retail lettings at Manchester Arndale to The North Face, Sunglasses Hut, Nike, and Oseyo. This is alongside the additions to its exciting food and beverage lineup including Black Sheep Coffee, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Lazy Sundae, Slim Chickens and Tim Hortons.
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said: “Our commitment to offering a diverse retail mix – as well as a wide variety of leisure and F&B brands ensures that Manchester Arndale remains a premier destination for shoppers. Dune London’s arrival will cater to Manchester Arndale’s stylish clientele, and we’re delighted to welcome the brand to the centre.
“Our approach not only seeks to strengthen footfall but also drive demand for well-placed units, taking our retail occupancy close to 95 per cent. Manchester Arndale’s strategic location and commitment to providing a unique shopping and dining experience continue to make it a magnet for brands seeking to expand their presence in the city.”
Nigel Darwin, CEO of Dune added: “We are thrilled to be returning to Manchester Arndale with the opening of our new store. We know we have many fans of the Dune London brand and our fabulous shoes and bags in Manchester, and we’re excited to be part of this vibrant retail centre once again.”
M&G Real Estate and Global Mutual act as joint asset managers of Manchester Arndale. Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are Manchester Arndale’s retained letting agents.
