'Globally recognised lifestyle retailer' lands in Central London
MINISO, the globally recognised lifestyle retailer, is opening a new store on Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of Chinatown, and it’s the UK’s very first MINI MINISO. MINISO’s first-ever Central London spot is opening its doors on Friday, 29th September at midday. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable grand opening.
The UK’s first MINI MINISO, is the smallest and cutest one yet. Selling a curated edit of MINISO’s best-selling products, with a focus on TikTok favourite Blind Boxes and a selection of affordable lifestyle products, plushies and accessories.
At just 40 square metres, MINI MINISO is the smallest MINISO store to date. Not only does it mark the 22nd store opening in the UK, but it is also the 2nd high street stand-alone location.
To launch the store, a range of joyful activities are planned to take place, including a Meet and Greet with MINISO’s mascot PenPen, a live drummer performance and goody bags worth over £25, with purchase for the first 200 customers at the grand opening.
Saad Usman, chief operating officer at MINISO UK, said: “The Shaftesbury Avenue store represents quite a few milestones for us, our first MINI MINISO and the first time we have looked at dedicating a store to a more curated edit of our fans’ favourite items. So you could say we’re pretty excited to open the doors on Friday, and bring the MINISO joy to Chinatown London.”
The new opening is the retailer’s first store in central London and follows the successful opening of its other London stores in Westfield White City, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, Brent Cross and Wandsworth. MINISO has around 5,791 stores in over 100 countries, including a number of famous retail destinations such as Times Square in New York.
