West Yorkshire financial services firm announces expansion and recruitment plans

An independent financial services company is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month and the firm is currently looking to expand and recruit another experienced Independent Financial Adviser.

Bradford headquartered TL Dallas Independent Financial Services was founded in 1993 and has a team of seven dedicated and experienced Independent Financial Advisers and support staff.

Director Gary Nixon commented: “I joined the business over 25 years ago and am proud to say three of our team, Jane Maclauchlan, Lynsey Brannan and Kristina Karmann, have also been with the firm for more than 15 years each. As we celebrate three decades in business, we plan to create at least one new permanent role to support the growth of our business.”

TL Dallas Independent Financial Services works with corporate and personal clients providing financial advice, pension fund management services and employee benefits packages. The firm is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Fellow Associate Director, Jane Maclauchlan, added: “We have a loyal client base and work for many high-net-worth individuals and businesses of all sizes that are based across the UK. Our clients enjoy the continuity of service they receive and the added value we provide.

“Many of our personal clients take advantage of our pension management, inheritance tax and retirement planning advice. Nearly all of our new clients come from referrals by our existing clients, which is a testament to the quality of work carried out by the team. Over the last 20 years pension rules have changed a lot.

“There is much more choice these days, but with increased options, comes the need for more detailed and considered advice. The majority of our personal clients have used our services for years, and we are very proud of the extensive research and suitability reporting that we carry out, which helps clients to make their decisions in an informed manner.

“Compliance is also an area that has changed a lot over the years and it’s something we are fully committed to. With new Consumer Duty rules coming into effect this year, clients can be assured that they will receive a high standard of consumer protection.”

Gary added: “Corporate clients choose us for their employee benefit schemes, business and life protection products, and critical illness and death in service cover. There has been a definite shift amongst businesses for more employee benefit schemes that cover medical and dental provision post-Covid, as businesses move to look after their people more.

“Key person insurance is another area that more businesses are keen to invest in following the pandemic, and we work with businesses on an annual basis to review and renew the right cover for their individual needs.”
