£61m Nottinghamshire residential development to deliver over 100 new homes
Housebuilder Avant Homes East Midlands is set to deliver 102 new homes in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, after being granted planning permission for a £61m development.
Called Hackett Grange and located off Nottingham Road, the 13-acre development will include a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. It will feature 14 of Avant Homes’ house types, with prices to be released at a later date.
Of the 102 homes, 30 per cent have been designated as affordable housing. Avant Homes has also committed to a community contribution of £950k to support education and local services, and a sustainable travel plan.
Work at Hackett Grange is anticipated to start this December with the first residents expected to move into their new homes in autumn next year.
Avant Homes East Midlands managing director, Ben Felton, commented: “Radcliffe-on-Trent’s proximity to key motorway links and strong local community means there is high demand for new homes in the locality.
“Our development at Hackett Grange will aim to satisfy this demand, so we are pleased our plans have been approved by Rushcliffe Borough Council.”
Avant Homes East Midlands currently has seven live developments ranging from Mickleover to Kettering with many more due to start as the business continues to implement its growth plans.
Avant Homes East Midlands is part of the Avant Homes Group, whose house types are ideal for the private, rented and affordable sectors, which operates across the Midlands, north of England and Scotland from nine regional operating businesses.
At present, the housebuilder employs more than 600 people with ambition to grow its multi-tenure business further across its existing regions and beyond, creating communities and providing employment opportunities for many.
