Nigel Wright Group achieves milestone amidst expansion to new Leeds office
Recruitment firm, Nigel Wright Group, expanded with a new office in Leeds a year ago and has already achieved a milestone. They have helped dozens of clients in Yorkshire fill multiple critical vacancies.
They forecast this increasing to over 100 Yorkshire clients in the next six months. The firm employs 10 recruitment consultants in Leeds who are leading the regional expansion in the North of England amongst businesses in Yorkshire. Their expertise has attracted clients resulting in the first year’s fees achieving seven figures.
Nigel Wright Group has operated for over 35 years from its headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne. The team in Leeds works alongside over 60 consultants with ambitions for Nigel Wright Group to be the leading professional recruitment business in the North of England. The Leeds office already accounts for over 10 per cent of the regional business’s revenue.
Director, Richard Morgan, who is leading the growth in Yorkshire commented: “I am delighted to see our unique approach is helping us to stand out in this market. Our clients and candidates tell us it’s a clear point of difference and we are already attracting repeat business.
“We are fulfilling a need in the market that is not being met by other recruitment firms. All our consultants are sector specialists with expertise in a specific discipline. This combination is unique and ensures extensive market understanding and candidate quality, to access the best permanent and interim talent.
Richard continues: “Our culture and ambition contributes significantly towards our success. Clients value our consultants’ integrity, team ethos, and passion to providing excellent customer experiences when delivering on their commitments to find the best talent.
“Our growth has come from identifying the best regional and national candidates for roles in finance, HR, IT, marketing, sales, operations, and even executive positions. It is encouraging that our reputation is spreading and attracting new clients from the North West too.
“Leeds has the potential to be our largest office and we aim to double our team in the coming year. We already have addition consultants lined up to join our Leeds team before the end of the year. Unlike some firms, we don’t only seek experienced recruiters. We value people seeking a career change from within the industries we recruit for. We expect more people to join our business before the year end.”
