Popeyes UK reveals plans to launch Meadowhall Shopping centre venue
On the 31st October, American fried chicken restaurant, Popeyes® UK, will officially open the doors to its newest restaurant at Meadowhall Shopping centre.

To celebrate the launch, Popeyes® UK will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its Southern hospitality, on opening day the first 3 people in the queue will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year.
Additionally, the first 25 customers in the queue will also be rewarded with a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise. Alongside this Popeyes® UK will be bringing the sound of New Orleans to Meadowhall with a live Mardi Gras style band, the Brass Funkeys.
Popeyes® UK saw one of its most successful openings to-date when it opened the first UK drive-thru in Rotherham in May, so it is advised to get down quickly as queues are expected for the viral Chicken Sandwich from the early morning.
To spice things up, Popeyes® UK is also hosting a full-day pop-up event on opening day (Tuesday 31st October) from 10am outside the new store in the Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
On the day, the pop-up will feature a range of flavoursome, fun-filled activities, such as a photo booth, professional face painters and the brand’s popular online Winner Winner Chicken Spinner will come to life, with a Spin to Win wheel where customers can bag some amazing prizes.
Not only that, to celebrate the launch of its new breakfast menu, Popeyes® UK will also be offering free Big Cajun Rolls to the first 25 customers in the queue on Wednesday 1st November. Breakfast will start at 8am, including the mouth-watering big breakfast roll, cajun hash browns and indulgent nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits.
The all new American fried chicken restaurant will mark the brand’s 17th opening in 2023, and the 33rd opening since landing in the UK in November 2021.
