Provide Community hosts successful charity golf day raising £13,500 for Ormiston Families

On Friday 6 October 2023, Provide Community hosted their annual charity golf day at Chelmsford Golf Club, bringing together key local stakeholders and colleagues.

The day saw an impressive turnout of 100 attendees and raised a grand total of £13,500.

All proceeds are set to benefit Ormiston Families, a distinguished charity dedicated to shaping brighter futures for children, young people and their families in East Anglia.

Mark Heasman, Provide Community Group CEO, said “We are overwhelmed by the incredible show of support from our golf day attendees. This event symbolises what we can achieve when we come together for a shared purpose, even if it’s whilst having fun on the golf course.

“By supporting Ormiston Families, we are living our values of care and compassion and hope to contribute to the invaluable work that they do supporting young people, their families and our local communities.”

Allan Myatt, Ormiston Families Chief Executive, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part in what was a fantastic event. Everyone had a great day and raised vital funds which will go towards our work helping families in the East of England.

“Thanks also to Provide Community for all their efforts in arranging the event and thinking of us.”
