Chinti & Parker launches its first permanent store on the King's Road

The Sloane Stanley Estate has announced that the luxury womenswear brand, Chinti & Parker, has opened its first permanent store on the King’s Road following a raft of collaborative and successful pop-ups over the last two years, as well as a new pop-up for ethical and sustainable fashion label, Aspiga.

Chinti & Parker has opened its debut store at 322 King’s Road, nearby to retailers such as Birdie Fortescue and Love My Human Townhouse. Boasting luxury cashmere and designs that celebrate joyful colour, timeless shapes, and innovative texture, Chinti & Parker adds a unique element to the heart of Chelsea, delivering collections to enliven and invigorate women’s wardrobes. Designed in-house by the brand, the interior delivers a minimalistic and sleek customer experience with a variety of collections on display.

Rachael Wood, Co-Founder of Chinti & Parker, commented on the brand’s permanent debut: “We have experienced so much success from our pop-ups on the Sloane Stanley Estate, and it’s been great to work with a supportive and cooperative landlord that understands our needs and allows us to succeed in one of the most famous retail locations in London. This marks an important step in Chinti & Parker’s journey, and we can’t wait to continue embedding ourselves in this location and be a part of an inspiring and innovative group of tenants.”

British B Corp-certified brand Aspiga, known for its sustainable and responsible fashion, has also opened a larger store on the King’s Road this month. The new store replaces its current location on the King’s Road giving the brand a larger unit at 312-314 King’s Road until March next year. Housed in over 1,835 sq ft, the new store stocks the brand’s best-selling collection of dresses, corduroy tailoring, luxurious Merino wool knitwear, resortwear, and handcrafted accessories. The brand’s capsule collection of menswear is also available. The move to a larger unit further reinforces the appeal of the King’s Road in attracting high-quality retailers.

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, added: “Welcoming Chinti & Parker back to the King’s Road as a permanent tenant demonstrates just how successful our ‘on-demand’ leasing strategy is. By trying out the location and testing the waters with a series of pop-ups and growing its appeal to the wider demographic and community, we’ve been able to convert this into a permanent store. We always want to collaborate, enabling brands to trade on one of the most established areas of London and experience the compelling proposition, and Chinti & Parker is evidence that smaller, independent brands can achieve ongoing success here, and we very much share the same vision for Aspiga, who will no doubt thrive in this location.”

Chinti & Parker and Aspiga join Il Porticciolo, the new luxury childrenswear boutique, which has opened at 253 King’s Road and Townhouse, the bespoke and premium nail care brand and salon at 261 King’s Road.

Chinti & Parker & Aspiga dealt direct, whilst Miles Commercial and Levy’s Real Estate represented the Sloane Stanley Estate.
