No Code Lab’s Net Zero Hackathon Facilitates Region-Wide Collaboration for a Green Future

The team at No Code Lab went green at their latest No Code Net Zero Hackathon to further ignite the innovation in the no code revolution. With event sponsors including Lloyds Bank, Servita, Leeds Digital Festival, and Weavy, the hack saw the creation of no code solutions that were solving real problems to support a more sustainable future, alongside collaboration between 10+ world-renowned businesses, no code experts and novices alike.

When asked about the event, Co-Founder of No Code Lab and Group CEO of Halston Group, Georgia Halston said:

“I’m happy to say that our latest hackathon saw the collaboration of many big players within the no code ecosystem.

“We also wanted to say a massive thank you to our sponsors, judges, and all of the teams who got involved. With their help, we were able to create no code solutions that will improve the sustainability of businesses across the UK and Europe. Whether that was recycling platforms for manufacturing businesses or volunteering platforms to support local sustainable initiatives, the teams involved delivered real value with no prior experience that will contribute to our net zero future.

No Code Lab is a community that connects digital enthusiasts and opens up the conversation surrounding no code and low code developments. By utilising no code’s ability to provide speed and agility to many sectors, No Code Labs’ no-code hacks break down barriers by opening the door to agile solutions for those who don’t have coding or even vast technology knowledge.

Their latest event, the No Code Net Zero Hack, included teams and judges from across to the digital sustainability industry, who came together to create cutting-edge platforms solving real-life issues, all within 8 hours.

The winning solution was created by Team Zero, a group comprised of members of the Office of Data Analytics and Leeds-based software company Panintelligence. Team Zero built a no-code platform that gives the citizens of Leeds insights into the carbon footprint of their communities, giving them the power to live more sustainably in their local area.

Zandra Moore, Co-Founder of No Code Lab and CEO of Panintelligence, spoke about the purpose of the event:

“This year’s No Code Net Zero Hack proves that by opening the doors to no code and facilitating collaboration between data experts and data newbies, we can create no code solutions that actually make a difference to the everyday sustainability of businesses.”
