L&Q launches new homes in Brent
L&Q has launched a collection of brand-new two- and three-bedroom Shared Ownership homes at Brent Terrace. The new launch is set within one of the biggest regeneration projects in Europe, ‘Delivering for Barnet’, a programme taking place across the Borough for the next 15 years with the aim of transforming the area into a vibrant new north London district.
A brand-new show home has also opened its doors at the development, styled by Haus Interiors, which illustrates to potential purchasers what life at Brent Terrace might look like.
Claire Brenlund, Sales and Marketing Director at L&Q comments: “Brent is an exciting neighbourhood in North London, with lots of fantastic potential. Brilliant transport links and lots of green space make it an ideal location for both young families and those who commute into the centre of the capital, with plenty to do on the doorstep and beyond.
“The ‘Delivering for Barnet’ programme will have a fantastic impact on the Borough, and we can’t wait to see the area flourish.”
Homes at Brent Terrace feature modern kitchens with fully integrated appliances, including an oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and extractor. Bathrooms include contemporary tiled floors and walls, as well as sleek chrome towel radiators, whilst all bedrooms are fitted with carpets, and principal bedrooms feature fitted wardrobes.
Outside, homes benefit from one allocated parking bay per household, a feature difficult to come by when buying a home in the capital. Cycle storage is also available to those who prefer to navigate the city on two wheels. Every home has access to private outdoor space in the form of a back garden or inset balcony.
Offering green credentials, Brent Terrace is also complete with a green roof, comprising a layer of vegetation installed on the roof’s surface. This design has various environmental benefits, such as improving stormwater management, facilitating better sound insulation, supporting air quality and encouraging local biodiversity.
The local area of Brent has a great deal to offer. The re-development of Brent Cross Shopping Centre paired with the brand-new High Street south of the North Circular means that residents will soon have easy access to restaurants, cafes, shops, and gyms. Catering to young families, the area also benefits from a number of well-rated schools, such as Ofsted rated Good Claremont Primary School and Whitefield Secondary School.
