Newcastle United FC announces latest Official Partner in ‘first of its kind’ deal

InPost Group, a European e-commerce delivery platform, has announced a multi-year partnership with Premier League Club Newcastle United, and is now an Official Partner of the Club.

This new agreement between two rapidly growing organisations is the ‘first of its kind’ for InPost’s UK operation, which already has over 6,000 Out Of Home delivery options across the country.

This number is set to increase as Newcastle United supporters will soon experience the convenience of using bespoke InPost parcel lockers at St. James’ Park, the first in the country at a Premier League Stadium.

Honouring the iconic black and white of Newcastle United, the specially designed parcel lockers will be located outside the iconic Gallowgate End, offering customers a city centre location, with InPost also having a number of collection points around Newcastle and wider Tyneside area.

Eagle eyed fans around the world will have seen the InPost brand prominently displayed at St. James’ Park during Saturday’s match against Manchester United. Over the coming months, supporters will see more from the partnership with exclusive content, competitions and other opportunities to appeal to fans.

Rafał Brzoska, InPost Group founder and CEO, commented: “This exciting partnership with Newcastle United underlines our commitment to expand InPost’s presence in the UK and Europe, and to provide our best-in-class delivery solutions to a wider audience.

“Exceptional performance is something that both InPost and Newcastle United aspire to and this will be a key theme as we bring this partnership to life. The international reach and popularity of the club will also help InPost break new ground and we look forward to sharing the journey with one of the most passionate fan bases in the world.”

Newcastle United’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Silverstone, added: “This first of its kind Premier League partnership clearly shows a shared commitment from InPost and Newcastle United to be innovative and creative, whilst putting our fans at the heart of activity.

“Like Newcastle United, InPost is on a rapid and remarkable UK and international growth trajectory, with a 60 per cent increase in locker locations internationally during 2023, with the number of parcels delivered using InPost’s service seeing a 30 per cent increase in their global markets.

“Similarly, during the 2022/23 Season, Newcastle United’s live audience reach grew over 48 per cent in Europe and 44 per cent in the UK, with our number of followers increasing at a rapid pace. We are excited to partner with InPost, providing an incredible platform to support their UK and European growth plans.”
