Verne Global, provider of sustainable data center solutions for high intensity computing, has today announced it has appointed Natasha Mehta to the newly created role of Head of Project Management.
Based in London, Mehta will be responsible for delivering all of Verne Global’s major projects, including new builds, data hall fit-outs and other strategic initiatives, ensuring they are planned and executed as efficiently as possible, within time, scope and budget constraints. She will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining standardised processes and methodologies across the company’s entire data center platform, which spans Iceland, Finland and the UK, to ensure that all current and future projects follow consistent best practices.
Mehta brings a wealth of experience to Verne Global. She joins the company from VIPA Digital, where she held the position of Associate Director, providing project management and consulting services to both data center providers and investors. She has also held senior roles at Arcadis, where she worked with hyperscalers, and at Digital Realty. Prior to specialising in the data center industry, she provided consultancy to a wide range of other critical infrastructure providers, and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
“Tash brings extensive project management experience to our team and her role will be pivotal as we continue to scale our Northern European data center platform,” said Tate Cantrell, Chief Technology Officer, Verne Global. “At Verne Global, our focus is on continuous innovation and improvement, so we can support increasingly high-density workloads in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. Tash will play an instrumental role in helping us deliver on this vision.”
