Wimborne panto cast brings Christmas cheer to town’s new homes development
Shouts of ‘it’s behind you’ could be heard at Barratt Homes’ Quarter Jack Park this weekend as the town’s pantomime cast made a special visit to the new Wimborne development.
Wimborne Panto’s ‘Best Ever Christmas Show’ is coming to the Minster Theatre between 15th and 24th December, and leading housebuilder, Barratt Homes, has signed up as sponsor. On Sunday, some of the show’s performers popped along to the developer’s site to say hello to its residents ahead of the festive play.
Eight members of the cast visited on the day and could be seen ‘acting’ as new homeowners as they spent time in Quarter Jack Park’s stylish new show homes. They also knocked on doors across the development, passing out festive treats to younger residents and telling everyone about the pantomime that’s coming to town.
Nina Thompson is the director of the forthcoming Yuletide production and said: “Our ultimate family pantomime experience is coming to Wimborne in the run up to Christmas this year, and we’re really grateful for Barratt Homes’ sponsorship support. It has been brilliant to come along to the developer’s site and talk to residents about our upcoming show – I know all the performers really enjoyed it.”
Tammy Bishop, Barratt Homes Sales Director, said: “What better way to mark the festive period than with a Christmas panto? We’ve loved welcoming the cast here today and are thrilled to be sponsoring the Minster Theatre production. Thanks to all the performers that came along – it really brought some Christmas cheer to our development here in Wimborne.”
Wimborne panto’s ‘Best Ever Christmas Show’ promises an unforgettable theatrical experience filled with laughter, music, and magic. The production will run at the Minster Theatre, Allendale Centre from Friday 15th December until Christmas Eve, and is all about Father Christmas and his elves preparing for the big day.
