APDO Strengthens Training Team with New Appointment
The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) has bolstered its Professional Development team with the appointment of a new trainer.
Glasgow-based Kate Galbally is an award-winning professional organiser and productivity coach and has been running her own business, Better Organised, since 2017. Kate has been involved in keeping family homes running smoothly since she was nineteen years old and now, in her business, is dedicated to helping time-starved women to declutter, organise and simplify their homes so that they can focus on what matters most.
Kate has many years of training experience in the corporate and public sector as well as for charities, 1-1, and small group sessions in her own business. Her calm and professional approach, twinned with her commitment to delivering exceptionally high standards of training, make her an ideal addition to APDO’s Professional Development team.
Kate, who will begin delivering APDO training in 2024, commented, “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the APDO training team. With a variety of training roles and six years’ APDO membership under my belt, I am so excited to collaborate with my training team colleagues in delivering APDO’s professional development offerings. Supporting other organisers in enhancing their knowledge and confidence in their services has always been important to me and I look forward to continuing to do this in my new role. This is such an exciting time to be part of the professional decluttering and organising industry and I am delighted to play a part in helping other organisers improve their skills so that they can better support their clients.”
Jaime Frow, Professional Development Director at APDO, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Kate onboard. Our exceptional trainers are proud to deliver the highest standard of training, and with Kate’s skills and experience, she will be a huge asset to this team. We are firmly committed to supporting our members to ensure their businesses flourish and their clients reap the rewards of their knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to continued professional development, and we look forward to working with Kate to provide further valuable opportunities to learn.”
APDO, the UK’s membership association for decluttering and organising professionals, sets standards, provides professional development and supports the growth of the industry. Founded in 2004, APDO is a non-profit organisation and belongs to a global community of professional organising associations which foster collaboration to advance the industry through sharing information and ideas.
