London fashion start-up Chapter.London brings return and repair scheme to the market to tackle fast fashion

Stylish and sustainable fashion brand Chapter.London have just launched their new not-for-profit return and repair scheme, which will allow customers to send their much-loved pieces back to them for years after the usual return periods for repairs to things like hems, linings, and buttons to extend the longevity of the garment for the price of postage (£5 in total). The scheme aims to extend the lifespan of Chapter.London’s clothing by customers sending a photo of the garment ahead of time to check it can be repaired. Customers cover the postage for sending and receiving the garment, but will be assured that the item will be fully repaired-or they’ll receive a £20 voucher towards their next purchase.

Chapter.London, which was only launched by ex M&S leader Tanya Patel just over a year ago and has already expanded to be stocked in Wolf and Badger and Debenhams, is known for its bold leopard prints, wrap dresses, and wide leg jumpsuits all in sizes 8-20. Striving for the best sustainability practices, Chapter.London uses certified OEKO-TEX materials, recycled packaging and is designed and manufactured in England, with the brand now introducing this innovative return and repair service to increase the longevity of their clothes even further and provide a much more affordable service than taking it to a tailor.

The entire range is currently designed and manufactured in England, with the brand’s supply chain is fully sustainable from end-end; allowing them to fulfill much smaller minimum order quantities than fast fashion brands, meaning there’s no waste or stock being sent to landfill.

Tanya Patel, CEO of Chapter.London says: “We always want to extend the longevity of our clothes as we stand for the opposite of fast fashion. We know  they’re made to last but now customers can love them for years and years with our new service. No more worrying about needing to take your favourite dress to a tailor.”
