Newcastle based proptech ‘pioneer’ marks ‘key milestone’ with new acquisition

Gosforth headquartered iamproperty, a specialist in property technology and ‘pioneers’ of the Modern Method of Auction and the UK’s first end-to-end onboarding and conveyancing platform, has acquired Information Works in a trade deal for an undisclosed sum.    

The deal is a ‘key milestone’ in iamproperty’s ecosystem roadmap, adding a comprehensive data and prospecting platform into its solutions portfolio. The ecosystem will enable Estate Agents to manage their whole day, with everything under one roof, one central login and one partner relationship. 

The acquisition also supports iamproperty’s continued mission to modernise the property industry and develop solutions and services for Estate Agents that have speed and security at their heart, helping agents to grow their business and delight their clients.  

Established in 2008, Information Works is a data and prospecting solution, offering a comprehensive Digital Marketing Services platform combining creative mailing concepts and highly targeted consumer data, as well as access to fully editable on-demand print products.

Information Works’ Managing Director, Nigel Ross, will exit the business following a handover period, leaving a well-established leadership and operational team at the helm, as they join iamproperty. 

The acquisition is iamproperty’s third within two years, having previously acquired cloud-based property software business VTUK as well as SDL Auctions’ portfolio of Estate Agency Partners who used the Modern Method of Auction service in 2022. 

This latest acquisition is the first to be made since iamproperty welcomed Perwyn as its new private equity partner last October.
