Walsall industrial paint specialists receive £2,500 grant to drive business growth

Intercoat, a market leader in manufacturing paints, coatings, and finishes for wood, metal, and plastics, is driving the business forward by implementing a robust digital strategy. This includes the launch of a new website and featuring compelling creative assets, supported by a £2,500 grant from Walsall Business Support.

The long-standing SME located on Bridgeman Street in Walsall received the grant to fund the cost of producing images and video material for the company’s new website and support the on-going marketing strategy.

The brand-new website will showcase the diverse range of products available and help position Intercoat Paints as the UK’s only manufacturer of solvent free, water-based coating system Aqualine+.

Established in 1974 and employing 60 members of staff at its Walsall location, Intercoat Paints supplies specialist paint solutions to the UK and Ireland, through its trade distribution and professional network, to a multitude of sectors including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, marine, shopfitting, doors and casket manufacturers.

Through revitalised branding, captivating creative materials, and an optimised website, Intercoat Paints aspire to amplify their company's narrative and underscore the value proposition of their sustainable product range.

Formed by leading local business figures to distribute funds collected from the legacy of Walsall Chamber of Commerce, Walsall Business Support provides grants to applicants who want funding for projects to enhance business life in the borough.
