Popular pod set for season four
A podcast showcasing the inspirational stories of trailblazers from all walks of life is returning for a fourth season.
The latest series of 'Fear Less, Do More', which features interviews with people who fearlessly stepped outside their comfort zones to embrace new and often challenging experiences, launches on October 24.
North East-based, but featuring interviews with people from further afield, the podcast has built a loyal following, providing a platform to champion individuals who have made, or are making, an impact by marching to a somewhat different beat, doing things their own way and on their own terms.
Hosted by Gill Hunter, managing partner at law firm Square One Law, the podcast features weekly episodes consisting of interviews with inspiring guests, from former Olympians to exciting entrepreneurs and brilliant business leaders, all of whom have overcome barriers and demonstrated what it means to be fearless.
Gill said: “Success can be gauged in infinite ways, but I think we have all felt that surge of adrenaline at least once when we’ve pushed ourselves outside of our comfort zone – speaking in public, launching a business or even speaking up when something doesn’t feel right.
“'Fear Less, Do More' was created to inspire people by telling the stories of those people who are blazing a trail in their respective fields.
“It certainly inspires me, and I absolutely love being able to share these inspiring chats on the podcast. We have some tremendous guests lined up.”
Among the guests in season four are:
- Former Olympians turned presenters, coaches and business owners, who talk about the rigours of elite sport and life after competition, including the challenges and triumphs that come with reinvention
- A disabled entrepreneur, on building a successful business while dealing with a life-altering disability and demonstrating innovation and resilience can overcome adversity
- Business leaders who have redefined success in their industries, breaking traditional moulds and leading with authenticity while flying the flag for the North East
- A comedian, artist, presenter and former priest who uses communication to engage his audience and foster a sense of community
- A musician using their passion for their art and zest for life to seize every opportunity that comes their way
Deb Ions, marketing director and executive producer of the podcast, added: “Our aim was to create a podcast that reflected the values of Square One Law.
“Being able to celebrate some truly inspirational businesses and individuals through this channel did that, so it made sense to take this approach. Working with the team at Flamingo Heights really helped us bring those ideas to life.
“We’re fortunate to meet so many interesting people and this podcast is an opportunity for us to share their stories with others. Guests are from all different backgrounds but have one thing in common – they’ve all made a difference by being bold, courageous and fearless.”
Episode One airs tomorrow (October 24), followed by weekly releases across all major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
