Adderstone Living targets Yorkshire with director
Affordable housebuilder Adderstone Living has appointed Rick Long as regional director for Yorkshire, as it eyes expansion beyond its North East base.
Rick, with over 30 years of residential housing experience from roles at Urban Group, Tilia Homes, and Kier Living, will lead efforts to position Adderstone as a preferred partner for social housing providers and suppliers in the region.
Rick said: “I am absolutely delighted and proud to be appointed to this role and look forward to leading the business in Yorkshire, where there is huge opportunity to develop the quality of the Adderstone Living product.
“I believe strongly in the power of collaboration and will be working closely with all our stakeholders to ensure we continue to deliver for our customers.”
Based in Adderstone Living’s soon-to-open Yorkshire office at Carrwood Park in Leeds, Rick’s role will focus on securing land, developing schemes, and managing planning permissions to meet strong demand for affordable housing.
New business director Debbie Hope added: “Our strength lies in our people and Rick will be a terrific addition to the team.
“With his extensive experience and regional knowledge, he will lead a new phase of growth for us in Yorkshire, where he will champion the needs of social housing providers and the regional supply chain right across the region.”
