New branch manager appointed at Sunderland letting firm
Specialist property management company Xenia Lettings has recruited a new branch manager.
Antonia Askew, who started on a work experience scheme in the industry at the age of 15, has joined Sunderland-based Xenia Lettings to drive forward its lettings office in the city.
With more than 18 years experience in sales and lettings, Antonia brings a wealth of property knowledge and business development skills to the new role.
Antonia started in a work experience role when she was just 15-years-old and she quickly progressed from Saturday girl to marketing specialist and on to branch manager by the age of 19, turning a low-performing office into a profitable business in just 12 months.
She was then head-hunted by a multi-branch agency, where she became sales and lettings manager, then director of sourcing.
Antonia has managed multiple property refurbishments and more than 180 landlords simultaneously and sold properties ranging from £1,000 to £1 million during her time in estate agency and business management.
She will bring experience from sales, auctions, lettings, sourcing, refurbishments, dispute management, holiday homes and property management to this new “challenging role” which involves managing the lead generation strategy for the business, carrying out market appraisals and providing excellent customer service levels to both landlords and tenants.
Antonia said: “For 18 years, my drive, passion and work ethic, have enabled me to fulfil many exciting roles in the property industry. I’m looking forward to bringing this experience to Xenia as well as the fantastic opportunity to build and grow the Sunderland letting office and to deliver a professional, honest and reliable service to all our customers.”
Xenia Lettings operates across the UK, specialising in residential and student lettings, offering in-person or virtual viewings, right-to-rent checks, arrears management, specialised marketing, thorough inventory checks, and repair and maintenance management.
