Onward Holdings undergoes restructure
Yorkshire-based Onward Holdings Ltd, a family-owned industrial property management company, has announced its first major restructure since 1961.
The change sees two founding families retiring, paving the way for a new leadership team drawn from the third and fourth generations of the Storey and Bloomer families.
Neil Storey and Stephen Bloomer are now joined by Will Storey and Kieren Bloomer in leadership roles, with Gavin Parkin stepping up as finance director.
Richard Firth of Park Place, who led the transaction, said: “I am proud to have devised, structured and led this shareholder restructure which opens the next chapter in the history of this long-standing Yorkshire business as it heads towards its centenary.”
Neil added: “We are delighted to have completed on the transaction and look forward to continuing to provide quality commercial properties and 3PL services to our customers.”
The team, alongside Chairman Martin Holden and key advisors, will focus on new site acquisitions, redevelopments, and expanding their managed 3PL warehousing, particularly at the Castleford facility.
Founded in 1930, Onward Holdings is known for its warehousing and industrial units across the M62/M1/A1 corridor and its ONYX Retail Park, developed on a former coal mine near Barnsley.
