Pegasus Group names senior director
Development consultancy Pegasus Group has appointed Dominic Waugh as senior director of planning at its Newcastle office, signalling the consultancy’s growth ambitions in the North East.
Dominic, formerly principal director at Fairhurst, brings nearly 20 years of experience as a chartered town planner, having worked on major projects including strategic industrial land at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the Kynren event in Bishop Auckland.
His arrival to the Newcastle office marks a point of continued strategic growth at Pegasus Group and follows the recent appointment of Eleanor Scott as senior heritage consultant, who joined the Newcastle office from Northumberland County Council.
Joining a 17-strong team, Dominic will focus on expanding and diversifying Pegasus Group’s planning services, supporting growth in sectors like education, infrastructure, and city regeneration.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining the ambitious and talented team at Pegasus Group who have a well-established reputation for delivering work to the highest industry standards.”
Sandra Manson, Pegasus Group’s executive director, added: “Dominic joins us with a stellar industry record and experience that will prove valuable in achieving our national and regional expansion aims.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Dominic to our Newcastle office and I look forward to seeing him apply his talents to our growing operation.”
