186 Property Solutions hails 'outstanding' growth
A commercial contractor has achieved significant business growth thanks to education sector work.
Darlington-based 186 Property Solutions, which provides building services nationwide, has reported a 25 per cent increase in turnover, driven by completing 64 school refurbishment projects across the North East and North Yorkshire during the summer.
This work contributed £583,000 to its turnover between July and August alone.
Michael Besterfield, UK sales director, said: "It’s been an outstanding year in terms of growth, particularly due to our focus on the education sector, along with our team's dedication and commitment to delivering quality.
"We have been privileged to work with schools and institutions that share our vision of creating better learning environments.
"For us, these projects are more than just contracts; they are investments in the future of our communities."
The company, which also operates an office in Berkshire, completed 210 contracts during the 2023/2024 period.
Its school projects included replacing more than 1600sq metres of flooring at a secondary school in Redcar, and refurbishing washrooms and toilets across multiple sites.
Michael added: "We have built longstanding, trusted partnerships with key clients, and as we move forward, we are excited to build on these foundations.
“We aim to take on new challenges and continue providing high-quality services that meet the evolving needs of clients across various sectors."
