Addington Capital boosts Asian investor network
London-based property investment and asset management specialist Addington Capital LLP has appointed David Watt as senior adviser to enhance its Asian investor network and build on existing relationships with Hong Kong investors in the London office market.
With over 40 years of experience spanning Asia and Europe, David has led high-profile commercial projects, including Beijing’s China Central Place and Hong Kong’s iSquare. He has also advised on strategic investments, such as Prologis’ logistics centre in Shenzhen and Dubai IFC’s development.
David’s expertise aligns with Addington’s ongoing asset management for key Central London properties, including 10 Fleet Place, where significant lease agreements have been secured since 2021.
Addington will showcase its capabilities and network at MIPIM Asia this December, reinforcing its role as a key player in the London property market for Asian investors.
Martin Roberts, principal at Addington, said: “We believe there are some very interesting opportunities in the London office market at current pricing levels.
“We are also seeing increased investor interest in our two core strategies for London - ‘Brown to Green office repositioning’ in Central London and the conversion of offices to residential for sale or rent in Greater London.
“David will help connect us with Asian investors looking to access our asset and development management expertise in these two expanding and important areas of London real estate. We are excited to have him on board.”
