Windel Energy relocates to fuel growth plans
An energy company specialising in low-carbon technologies has relocated to a prominent office park to support its growing operations and team expansion.
Windel Energy has moved its regional headquarters to Quorum Park on Benton Lane in Newcastle. The move aligns with the company’s growth strategy as it recruits for roles including a senior planner, developer and grid engineer to bolster its 12-strong team.
Jamie Knott, managing partner of Windel Energy, said: “We are thrilled to announce the relocation of Windel Energy to our new, larger office space, marking an exciting chapter of growth and opportunity.
“This move not only reflects the continued success of our business but also our commitment to expanding our team and creating a dynamic, high-quality work environment for our employees.
“The new space has been thoughtfully customised to meet both our current needs and future goals, offering enhanced workplace amenities and facilities designed to foster collaboration, creativity and well-being.
“By relocating, we are well positioned to support our growing workforce and this larger space enables us to attract top talent as we continue to expand.”
Established in 2018, Windel Energy joins major businesses including AA, Rightmove, Verisure, Rambol, NRG and Shared Services Connected Ltd at Quorum Park, which has become a hub for leading firms since being acquired by Shelborn Asset Management in 2019.
Acting on behalf of landlord Shelborn Asset Management, Greg Davison, a director at Savills, which acts as joint letting agent for Quorum Park with Avison Young, added: “Sustainability is a huge part of the ethos at Quorum Park, so the addition of Windel Energy to its community is a fantastic fit.
“The company joins an array of other forward-looking firms that appreciate the buzz created on a daily basis on site with a host of events, activities, and other perks of the park.”
