Energy and compliance firm grows national reach

An energy and compliance firm has strengthened its national presence with a new regional office and an expanded team to meet rising demand.

Green Zone Surveys, headquartered in Tyneside, has opened a new office in Ormskirk to “better serve” its growing client base in the North West. The move comes as the company continues to deliver sector-leading services across the UK, focusing on energy assessments and building compliance to help “future-proof businesses and help to save thousands of pounds”.

Known for helping clients navigate complex compliance requirements, Green Zone Surveys uses cutting-edge data and proactive scheduling to eliminate inspection delays and compliance gaps. This approach supports clients in enhancing energy efficiency, reducing costs, and achieving net-zero goals.

Callum Thompson, chief executive officer, said: “We recognise the growing demand and the subsequent importance of expanding our geographical reach and the office in Ormskirk will be a permanent base for a growing sales team.

“Green Zone’s new regional base marks an important juncture in our ambitious growth plans and gives us a greater level of national coverage, with the opportunity to grow our workforce across various departments as we look to meet demand now and in the future.

“This venture will also enable us to better serve trusted customers who are based in the North West and deserve the very best service we can offer - with feet on the ground and greater flexibility.”

The new Ormskirk office marks a key milestone for the company as it gears up for a busy period, providing clients with a dedicated local contact in the region.

Callum added: “Businesses face a number of financial challenges right now and CEOs everywhere are looking at finding the latest cost savings, wherever they may be.

“I’m no different in that respect. And while those savings aren’t always obvious, energy compliance can reap rewards across the board.

“As well as making an instant impact, measures put in place now can future-proof businesses and help to save thousands of pounds in the years to come.

“I hope that existing customers across the North West - and those that we hope to work with in the future - recognise the long-term commitment we’re making to a region that remains key to our national strategy.”
