Wilton Developments marks 20-year milestone
A Yorkshire-based property developer is celebrating two decades of creating transformative developments that have significantly bolstered the regional economy.
Wilton Developments, headquartered in Leeds, has delivered projects generating £470 million annually and thousands of jobs in the North of England. Known for industrial and logistics developments, the company spearheaded projects including Connex 45 and Kinetic 45 in the Leeds Enterprise Zone, as well as Latitude Park in Castleford and Enterprise 36 near Barnsley.
Its portfolio also includes landmark office investments in Leeds, such as the BCO award-winning 10 South Parade and blue plaque-recognised Hepper House. Mixed-use success stories include the regeneration of Water Lane in York into a 20-acre site featuring housing, retail and community facilities.
Looking ahead, Wilton is advancing major industrial schemes, including Leeds 500 and the 3.35 million sq ft Doncaster North.
Jason Stowe, managing director at Wilton Developments, said: “We are celebrating 20 successful years with the people who matter most; our team, shareholders, consultants, tenants, supply chains, institutional investors, stakeholders and local authority partners, all of whom have helped make the delivery of some of the region’s most exciting schemes possible.
“We have over this last 20 years developed in excess of 320,000 sq ft of in, and out of town offices, over 1.5 million sq ft of industrial and logistics space and around 330,000 sq ft of out of town retail.
“The future looks very exciting with some regionally important schemes coming forward, including Leeds 500, Doncaster North and Dynamo Park in Stockton.
“We, and our shareholders, look forward to the next 20 years and remain committed to delivering the same highest quality developments, delivering investment and job creation opportunities and helping to boost the vitality of the local communities in which they are located.”
