RTC bolsters IT team with new appointment
RTC has expanded its IT department with the permanent recruitment of Gemma Ross, following her successful tenure as a summer graduate intern.
Currently pursuing a BASc in Interdisciplinary Problem Solving and Computer Science at Northumbria University, Gemma initially joined RTC as a data cleansing intern. Her “exceptional performance” and innovative problem-solving skills have earned her a permanent role, reinforcing RTC’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
In her new position, Gemma will play a key role in managing IT infrastructure data and driving forward RTC’s technological initiatives.
Michael Ball, head of IT at RTC, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Gemma Ross to our team. She initially joined us as a summer intern, and her exceptional performance quickly demonstrated her value to our organisation.
“Her journey from an intern to a permanent position speaks volumes about her dedication and talent. We are confident that her contributions will be instrumental in achieving our technological goals.”
Founded in Sunderland in 1989, RTC has a 35-year track record of helping organisations innovate, compete and grow, with over 25,000 businesses supported across the North of England.
