A recruitment firm says it is primed to post record turnover and accelerate plans to double its workforce after enjoying “sensational” global growth.
Washington-based Visuna says revenue is poised to hit almost £80 million following market and geographic expansion.
And bosses say the business is set for further success, with a switch to the “booming” technology and renewable sectors, expansion into the US, Australia and Middle East and the “incredible work and support of its North East team” providing a “fantastic platform for growth.”
David Bolton, chief operating officer at the firm, which was formerly known as Oil Consultants and is on course to nearly double turnover in just three years, said: “We’ve enjoyed a consistent year-on-year increase in turnover, but this really does feel like a special milestone.
“The company has always been among the leading oil and gas recruiters, but as Visuna, we have invested more time and resources into the booming tech and renewable sectors, and that has really paid off.
“We’ve also significantly grown our global footprint, expanding our presence in energy hotbeds like the US, Australia and the Middle East.
“These steps, along with the incredible work and support of our team in the North East, have given us a fantastic platform for growth and we are incredibly optimistic that it will continue in the coming years.”
The financial boost comes after Visuna earlier this year received a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
