RTC North expansion a 'catalyst for further growth'
A business support organisation says it has “more room to grow” after sealing an office deal.
RTC North has moved into The Catalyst.
Bosses say the Newcastle base strengthens the operator’s “vision for the future” by further embedding it into the North East’s innovation ecosystem.
They add the venue, which joins existing RTC North sites in Sunderland, Leeds and Daresbury, in the North West, will allow it to host more business support events.
Based within the £350 million Helix development, The Catalyst is home to the National Innovation Centre for Ageing and the National Innovation Centre for Data, and brings together businesses, academia and local communities to engender industrial change.
Sarah Hart, director of operations at RTC North, which helps businesses commercialise ideas and access new markets, said: “The Catalyst offers an inspiring environment that fosters collaboration and creativity, which aligns perfectly with our vision for the future.
“We’re excited about the potential this brings for growth and development.
“We’re eager to get to know our neighbours and take advantage of the opportunities this space provides.”
Amelia Findlay, The Catalyst’s centre manager, added: “We’re a space for growth, with our tenants always working to develop new products and services.
“Our centre team and facilities will help make RTC North really feel at home, and we look forward to seeing the business thrive.”
