Lunson Mitchenall expands restaurant and leisure team
London-based Lunson Mitchenall, the UK’s leading independent retail and leisure advisor, has strengthened its restaurant and leisure team with the appointment of Freddie Cox. The hire positions the firm as the largest specialist advisor in the F&B and hospitality sector, supporting growth for both occupiers and landlords.
Freddie said: “I am really excited to be joining the Lunson Mitchenall team and work across the diverse portfolio and clients on their books.
“The company has always had an impressive reputation for nurturing talent and as I move through to the next stage of my career, it’s the perfect environment for me to continue learning and contribute to innovative solutions that drive success in this dynamic sector.”
Recent successes include advising on major sites such as Bristol Cabot Circus and Southampton Westquay and leading acquisition strategies for brands like Cosmo and Buzz Bingo.
As part of its commitment to industry development, Lunson Mitchenall also welcomes 2024 graduates Alys Hemmings to the Lease Advisory Team and Juliana Bentel to the Leasing Team.
Ruvan Sangra, head of restaurant and leisure, added: “The rising importance of leisure and hospitality within retail spaces makes now the perfect time to expand our team.
“With footfall and consumer confidence rebounding, restaurants, F&B, and leisure play a critical role in enhancing retail environments, extending dwell time and supporting vibrant evening trade.
“In prime locations such as The O2, landlords are dedicating more space to dining and leisure options.
“Demand for prime restaurant locations remains strong. The addition of Freddie alongside Will Stone and Jacob Corren will allow us to continue to grow in this space and offer market leading advice.”
