Song Sleuth welcomes non-exec advisor to drive growth
Music tech company Song Sleuth has appointed Ryan McCarry as non-executive advisor following his investment in the business.
With extensive experience in scaling tech startups, private equity and venture capital, Ryan will guide Song Sleuth's strategy as it tackles royalties issues in user-generated content (UGC).
Founded in 2021, Song Sleuth’s platform helps clients like Warner Chappell and ICE Services monetise previously undetected UGC.
Ryan’s expertise will support the company's commercial and technical growth, including sales, marketing and funding strategies. Based in Harrogate, Ryan joins during a pivotal phase for Song Sleuth in the music technology industry.
He said: “It is great to be working with Jordan again and a huge privilege to be a part of the next stage of Song Sleuth’s development and growth.
“This is an opportunity to work with an incredible team and I’m excited about the journey ahead.
“Our innovative and ‘true AI’ UGC platform has huge potential in the music and sports sectors and we aim to be the market-leader with the strongest tech offering available to our growing list of clients.”
Jordan Gross, Song Sleuth chief executive officer, added: “Ryan and I first worked together in telecoms many moons ago, so it’s an absolute delight to have him come on-board.
“He brings a wealth of infrastructure and growth expertise that will be invaluable to Song Sleuth as it accelerates its growth over the next few years.”
