Clive Owen LLP expands with senior appointments
Clive Owen LLP, one of the North’s leading independent accountancy and business advisory firms, has strengthened its Newcastle office with the appointment of tax director Elizabeth Rothery and corporate tax manager Aaron Larvin.
Elizabeth Rothery brings nearly two decades of experience in private client taxation, including succession planning and inheritance tax. She has supported high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs, managing complex projects and transactions, often for high-profile clients.
She said: “I am delighted to have joined Clive Owen LLP at a period of great excitement, buoyed by the recent investment in the Newcastle office.
“I look forward to contributing to the growth of our presence on Tyneside and working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals and ambitions.”
Aaron Larvin adds expertise in corporate tax compliance and value-added services such as R&D tax relief and capital allowance claims. His career spans roles at independent practices and national firms, working with owner-managed businesses and international groups.
These appointments follow the October launch of Clive Owen LLP’s Newcastle office, led by tax partner Stephen Harris. Located at The Spire on Pilgrim Street, the office complements the firm’s established presence in Darlington, Durham, York and Middlesbrough.
Aaron added: “I have known and worked with Stephen over the course of my career and am excited to join a firm renowned for its dynamism and excellence across the North.
“I look forward to contributing to the long-term success of Clive Owen LLP’s tax offering in Newcastle and across the firm.”
David Baggaley, tax partner at Clive Owen LLP, added: “Elizabeth and Aaron join at an exciting time for the firm as we continue to grow and invest in our people, demonstrated by our latest expansion in Newcastle.
“Their specialist knowledge and experience working for Big Four and national firms complements our well-established and respected tax division and will further enhance our service offering as we continue to build on our recent period of expansion.”
