Fox Lloyd Jones strengthens building surveying division

Leeds-based Fox Lloyd Jones (FLJ), a strategic property and construction advisory firm, has appointed Mark Gayton as director to lead its building surveying division.

Mark brings over 20 years of experience in the property sector, having held senior roles at prominent firms including Hollis, Projex Building Solutions in Leeds, and CNP in London.

In his new role, Mark will oversee FLJ's comprehensive building surveying services, which include development due diligence and building acquisition surveys, while driving growth and expanding the firm's offering.

He will also play a key role in FLJ’s senior leadership team, contributing to its strategic direction.

Mark said: “Joining FLJ is an exciting opportunity for me to become part of a leading commercial property business in Leeds that has a strong reputation for client service and delivering a professional and results-driven approach.

“I’m looking forward to further expanding our building surveying offering by developing client relationships and providing strategic guidance which complements our existing construction, development and agency teams within the business.”

Simon Lloyd, co-founder and director at Fox Lloyd Jones, added: “Being in a position to enhance our building surveying division and senior leadership team, through the appointment of such an experienced professional as Mark, is hugely satisfying and further sustains our long-term growth.

“He brings to the business a wealth of expertise and knowledge that can only increase the level of insight and guidance we’re able to offer our client base.”
