CPD Bodies 'driving on' after £10 million boost
A commercial vehicle conversion firm says it is in gear for growth thanks to a £10 million investment drive.
CPD Bodies has bought new vehicles and boosted production capacity at its Stockton headquarters.
Bosses say the move strengthens its “commitment to empowering UK businesses with innovative vehicle solutions and further solidifies its reputation as a trusted industry partner”.
The cash boost has helped the firm buy a suite of single and double cab chassis – for conversion into tippers, dropsides and Luton vans – and panel vans, which can be customised into welfare vans and passenger transport.
The injection – which has seen the company spend £1 million to expand production space and £250,000 on a spray booth – has also allowed it to bolster its all-electric range of models.
Cathal Doocey, managing director, said: “This investment reflects our commitment to empowering UK businesses with innovative, reliable vehicle solutions.
“As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, we’re proud to support businesses in future-proofing their fleets with sustainable, zero-emission options.
“Whether it’s a sole trader or a fleet manager, we’re here to deliver purpose-built conversions, ready for rapid delivery, to drive success and support a greener future.”
