A Leeds-based duo have launched a recruitment and consultancy firm aimed at transforming the hiring process in the marketing sector.
Got The T-Shirt has been founded by Sam Rainey and Greg Felgate.
They say the One Embankment-based venture will offer a “refreshingly honest” and “genuinely consultative” approach to connecting talent with businesses.
Sam and Greg bring more than 50 years' combined experience across creative, strategy, digital, media, PR and social roles at leading agencies.
Sam, formerly group sales and marketing director at Mediaworks, and Greg, who is chief commercial officer at Gold79, aim to bridge the gap between businesses and candidates with a personal and practical touch.
Greg said: “When Sam and I started talking about launching a recruitment agency, we quickly realised we’d both been thinking along the same lines - there was a real opportunity to do things differently.
“We wanted to create something refreshingly honest, genuinely consultative, and a reflection of how we wished recruiters dealt with us when we were in agencies.
“Many of the businesses we’ve spoken to want more than just recruitment.
“They’re also looking for consultancy - particularly around their sales and marketing strategies - to drive growth alongside building their teams. We’re excited to be offering both services.”
Greg added: “We’re committed to finding talent that doesn’t just fill a role but drives long-term growth.”
“One of the things that has always frustrated us about recruitment is how secretive pricing can be. Rates are often buried in T&Cs, making it difficult to compare or understand what you’re actually paying for. That’s why we’ve put our pricing front and centre on the website, for everyone to see.
“We believe we can offer the best of both worlds - combining a premium service with a fair price.”
