SportsShoes.com steps up with Vitality partnership
A Shipley-based online retailer is stepping up its mission to encourage healthier lifestyles through an exciting new partnership.
SportsShoes.com, a £90 million turnover retailer which offers over 17,000 products from 150 global brands, has joined forces with health and life insurer Vitality, becoming part of the Vitality Programme, which incentivises the insurer’s 1.8 million members to embrace more active habits.
As part of the collaboration, Vitality members can now enjoy up to 50 per cent off a pair of running shoes, along with discounts on a wide selection of running clothing, footwear and outdoor gear from leading brands including Asics, Nike, New Balance, Salomon, Rab and Patagonia.
Nick Read, managing director of the Vitality Programme, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with SportsShoes.com to bring a full range of sports clothes and shoes to our Vitality members.
“Our Vitality Programme is scientifically proven to support people to make healthier choices, offering the very best rewards that further incentivise people to make healthier choices.
“SportsShoes.com’s addition to the Programme is a natural evolution for it, with members now able to access exclusive discounts on sportwear that will help them to be more physically active.”
This partnership follows SportsShoes.com exclusive global retail agreement with parkrun last year, supporting over nine million runners worldwide and further demonstrating its commitment to active lifestyles.
Brett Bannister, SportsShoes.com managing director, added: “At SportsShoes.com, our mission is to explore new ways to support more people to lead happier and healthier lives through physical activity.
“This aligns perfectly with the Vitality Programme’s commitment to inspiring and empowering its members to make better choices for a healthier lifestyle.
“Our exciting new partnership will support its members’ running and activity journeys through providing exclusive discounts on an extensive range of the best products from leading brands.”
