Ramboll appoints transport market director

Global engineering consultancy Ramboll has named Ann Gordon as market director for transport in the UK and Ireland.

Ann, who has been with Ramboll for two decades, steps into the role following her tenure as project director in the transport project management team and masterplanning market lead.

With experience spanning Europe, America and the Middle East, Ann has led high-profile projects such as HS2 and Digital Rail.

In her new position, Ann will focus on driving sustainable transport solutions, advancing Ramboll’s expertise in rail and delivering resilient infrastructure for cities, airports, ports and highways. 

Her leadership will play a pivotal role in supporting the UK’s decarbonisation goals and fostering sustainable development in the transport sector.

Ann said: “I’m very excited to be joining Ramboll’s leadership team for transport at such a crucial time and to be supporting the UK and Ireland’s sustainable infrastructure ambitions. 

“I’m also looking forward to driving collaboration across Ramboll to bring holistic, sustainable, and innovative solutions to our clients. 

“Empowering others has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career so far and I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to build on that even further in this new role.”
