untypical appoints western regional managing director

Solihull-based housebuilding group untypical has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kathryn Pennington as regional managing director for its western region.

Kathryn brings over 20 years of experience in land and development, including senior roles at Vistry Group. 

Her expertise in delivering sustainable growth and strategic partnerships has been widely recognised, with notable achievements such as the 5,500-home Sherford New Town project.

In her new role, Kathryn will oversee strategic operations across the western region, focusing on the completion of existing developments and expanding untypical's footprint in the South West. 

She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and serves as a non-executive director for Elim Housing Association.

Kathryn said: “I am excited to join untypical’s senior leadership team at such a pivotal time.
