Airport offers gateway to Alps with Geneva flights
A travel hub has unveiled a direct route to the Swiss Alps.
Leeds Bradford Airport has launched a new easyJet service to Geneva.
Bosses say the route strengthens the airport's winter offering, following easyJet’s recent additions to Paris, Belfast, Malaga and Palma.
Tom Holdsworth, aviation development manager, said: “We’re excited to offer another fantastic easyJet route.
“The Geneva connection provides our passengers with a fantastic new option for both winter sports enthusiasts and those looking to explore a dynamic, culturally rich city.”
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, added: “It’s great to see our fantastic new service from Leeds Bradford Airport taking off.
“Now we can offer customers in the region even more choice and connectivity, whether they are travelling for leisure to enjoy a cultural city break, or for business.”
