Baytree raises the bar with logistics hub
Baytree Logistics Properties has “set a new benchmark” by delivering two speculative warehouse units in South Leeds.
Units of 76,231sq ft and 145,454sq ft are now ready for occupation at Stourton, while a 329,000sq ft build-to-suit option remains available with planning consent.
The site benefits from proximity to Leeds Freightliner Terminal, offering occupiers the chance to decarbonise supply chains with rail freight links.
Casey Ferguson, Baytree development manager, said: “We are proud to announce the practical completion of phase one at Baytree Leeds.
“This development marks a significant milestone as the first BREEAM Outstanding speculative development in the North of England, setting a new benchmark in ESG for the region.
“The scheme also provides some much-needed speculative development in a prime Leeds location just one mile from both the M1 and M621 junctions.
“We are confident this will attract a lot of interest from our customers.”
The project is being marketed by Knight Frank, JLL and DTRE.
Tom Goode, partner and specialist in industrial and logistics at the Leeds office of Knight Frank, added: “These measures mean Baytree Leeds is setting a new benchmark for the logistics sector in Yorkshire.
“Combined with its prime West Yorkshire location and best-in-class specification, this will ensure this exciting development will prove extremely popular.
“We are already experiencing strong interest.”
