Recruiter seeks growth with £2.5 million support
A construction and engineering sector recruitment firm is seeking to build its market presence after securing £2.5 million backing.
AM Recruitment has been supported by Cynergy Business Finance.
The business, based in Billingham, near Stockton, says the cash will bolster working capital and “enhance operational flexibility” to help it “respond effectively” to client needs.
It adds the funding – secured through a confidential invoice discounting facility – will help “manage fluctuating debtor balances that can vary significantly due to the sector’s reactive nature”.
Ian Morrison, AM Recruitment director, said: “Our relationship with Cynergy has already allowed us to achieve our goals and focus on increasing our working capital capacity and growth potential, which will allow us to better serve clients and meet demands of a changing market.”
Dan Burton, Cynergy Business Finance director, added: “AM Recruitment is a well-run firm, backed by a solid management team.
“We are already engaged in potential plans for the future and how best we can support its growth journey.
“We’re looking forward to what comes next for Ian and the team.”
