Think Group steps up with innovation award

A Yorkshire-based textile manufacturer has been recognised for its cutting-edge flooring solutions, securing a National Flooring Innovation award.

Think Group won in the ‘Underlay + Accessories’ category for its SpringBond® Eco-Step 8mm, a fully recyclable, chemical-free underlay designed to outperform traditional PU products. 

The eco-friendly product, made from 85 per cent recycled content, debuted at the Harrogate Flooring Show, where it also won ‘Best Sustainability Product’.

With strong uptake in the housebuilding sector, the underlay is expected to be nationally specified by several top UK housebuilders within its first year. 

Think Group has also earned SMETA 4-pillar accreditation and an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), further highlighting its commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
