Engineer set to expand with £500,000 boost
A Hartlepool-based engineering firm is set to grow following £500,000 investment.
ExMesh Engineering is making “substantial investments in machinery” to expand services to meet increasing demand.
Known for metal perimeter fencing, bosses say the cash boost will allow the company to offer a full suite of metal fabrication solutions, from intricate custom designs to large-scale production.
They add the firm - a division of The Expanded Metal Company - will also embark on a recruitment drive.
Ryan Pinder, operations manager and head of CI, said: "To support our bold new direction, we have made substantial investments in machinery, which will enable us to deliver unparalleled precision, flexibility and capacity in all metal fabrication.
"New services include a top-of-the-line laser cutter, which can cut carbon steel, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium with extreme accuracy and efficiency.
“We are very proud to be investing and building on the skill and heritage that is grounded in Teesside.”
With more than a century of expertise in metal solutions, ExMesh Engineering supports clients across construction, architectural, industrial and retail sectors.
Philip Astley, managing director, added: “This new chapter marks a significant milestone in the evolution of ExMesh Engineering and our group.”
