Howarth Litchfield expands team
Durham-based architectural firm Howarth Litchfield has welcomed two new studio members as it continues to grow in response to an influx of new projects.
Elle Jarah joins as an architectural assistant after earning a Master of Architecture with distinction at Newcastle University.
She is currently working towards her Part 3 qualification and contributing to education projects in London and Lincoln, as well as ecclesiastical work.
Architect Christine Mottershead brings over five years of experience in residential, commercial, extra care and heritage projects.
At Howarth Litchfield, she is currently involved in the refurbishment of a Grade II-listed manor house and a feasibility study for a theatre.
The appointments strengthen the multidisciplinary firm’s capacity as it remains busy with projects across the country.
Elia Berry, director at Howarth Litchfield, said: “Elle and Christine have joined us at a very busy period in the evolution of the firm.
“We enjoy a solid reputation for our innovative design solutions across a wide range of sectors supported by our investment in people, technology and sustainability.
“We absolutely believe in training from within the firm whenever possible, so Elle and Christine will be given every encouragement to further develop their careers with us and we are delighted to welcome them to the team.”
