Fully funded upskilling with the University of Sunderland
As the lead partner of the Sunderland Skills and Inclusion Programme, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the University of Sunderland is offering a range of scheduled courses, fully funded for businesses, organisations and their employees based in Sunderland, covering the following postcode areas: SR6, SR1, SR5, SR4, SR3, SR2 DH5, DH4, NE37, NE38.
Launched in 2024 after securing £2.56 million in funding from the UKSPF, the project, led by the University of Sunderland in collaboration with 12 partners, has been providing both accredited and non-accredited fully funded courses across a range of subject specialisms and disciplines.
The University has already successfully delivered courses from a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership, an accredited Level 7 Supporting Social Emotional and Mental Health qualification, to a range of masterclasses including Podcasting, Coaching for Leaders, Project Management, Digital Marketing and more – all contributing to upskilling and developing the local workforce.
