HMG Paints in the mix for top honours
A Manchester-based coatings manufacturer is celebrating after being shortlisted for two accolades at the 2025 National Family Business Awards.
Family-owned HMG Paints is a finalist for the ‘North and Northern Ireland Family Business of the Year’ award, as well as being nominated for the publicly voted ‘People’s Choice’ award.
The recognition follows the company’s previous success in 2023, when it won ‘Manufacturing Family Business of the Year’.
Paddy Dyson, marketing manager at HMG Paints, said: “Being nominated for the North and Northern Ireland People’s Choice award is a great honour and recognition of the efforts of everyone at HMG.
“We’re looking forward to the event and celebrating the work Family Businesses do across the UK.
“Hopefully it’s a successful night for us too and we hope our extended community can help us to the People’s Choice award by casting their vote.”
The winners will be announced at a gala awards evening at the Royal Geographical Society in London on June 18.
