Deputy Principal joins board of Newcastle Rugby Foundation
Newcastle College Deputy Principal Lisa Hamilton-Murray has joined the board of Newcastle Rugby Foundation, the charitable arm of Newcastle Falcons.
Lisa brings nearly 30 years of experience in further education and has been a key leader at Newcastle College since 2016.
She will provide specialist education insight to help shape the Foundation’s work.
Lisa said: “I was thrilled to be invited to join the board.
“The partnership between Newcastle College and the Newcastle Rugby Foundation has already created life-changing opportunities for our students, showcasing the transformative power of sport and education.
“I am excited to work more closely with the Foundation and look forward to contributing in any way I can to positively impact the lives of even more young people across our community.”
The College and Foundation have a strong partnership, collaborating on the CAST and HITZ programmes, which promote social inclusion, volunteering and career opportunities for students.

“Lisa brings a wealth of experience in a senior leadership role within Newcastle College and we welcome her to our board.”
