Expian bolsters team with theatre ticketing expert
Expian has appointed Christian Terrill as strategic project manager to drive growth as the company expands its ticketing technology platform.
Known for supporting attractions, events and ferry operators, Expian recently secured major clients like P&O Ferries and Historic Royal Palaces.
Christian brings extensive experience from Royal Ballet, Opera, and LW Theatres, where he enhanced customer engagement and implemented tech-driven solutions.
At Expian, he will oversee ticketing technology delivery while supporting AI-driven innovations aimed at boosting sales and customer experience.
Christian said: “Everyone knows ticketing is essential, but its role in sales and business development is often underestimated.
“Operators have long relied on one-size-fits-all booking platforms, leading to complex reports that fail to drive growth or serve the organisation effectively.
“That’s what makes Expian so exciting. It provides the flexibility to adapt to business needs while enabling self-service options for customers and partners – dramatically improving user experience and operational efficiency.”
Expian’s platform streamlines operations, enables dynamic pricing and enhances upselling opportunities, helping operators maximise revenue in the experience economy.
Yiannis Maglaras, managing director at Expian, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Christian aboard.
“It is great to expand our team and bring in people who have managed ticketing in-house as they bring different perspectives and can fully empathise with the choices and challenges our clients face when transforming the way they sell tickets.
“As Expian scales up, Christian’s background in managing transformation projects will help us to establish processes and work even more seamlessly with venues and attractions to unlock more sales opportunities.”
